The ocean views from the position of these apartments is simply stunning – over the lighthouse and out to sea for miles – a location that is undeniably one of the most sought after in Yamba. They don’t build them like this any more - 2 units, 1 building, high on Yamba hill – rooms that ramble into others, high ceilings, wall paper – these units have all the hallmarks of the era and will make you wonder why they moved away from these character filled homes. In near original condition, there are some things that have lasted the test of time – real wool carpets and hardwood timber are made to last – but being this close to the beach has taken it’s toll on other aspects so there is work to be done but the extent of the work is discretionary – some may choose to embrace others will prefer more extensive works (and with SP3 tourism zoning the options are wide) If you’re after a quintessential Yamba beach pad, look no further than 7 Pilot Street – they’re not making any more of these!
