With over 20 years as a professional sports coach, David transitioned into the real estate industry in 2016, joining the First National team. Since then, he has excelled in roles spanning Business Development, Management, and Licensee positions, bringing his leadership skills and enthusiasm to the company.

Now, as co-owner of First National Bairstow Kerr alongside his wife Eileen, David is excited to continue the legacy of the business. Working closely with previous owners Evan and Jenny, the transition has been a true “family” succession plan, and David is grateful for their guidance and support.

David’s personal real estate experiences have shaped his deep understanding of the industry. From purchasing and renovating properties to building, subdividing, and selling, he and Eileen have seen every facet of the market. This hands-on knowledge fuels their passion for helping clients achieve their own property goals and create memorable real estate stories.

Inspired by his mother’s 35+ years in real estate, David credits her work ethic and expertise as a significant influence. Since starting in real estate, he has completed his Property Management and Sales Courses and earned his Diploma of Agency Management during the pandemic, solidifying his role as Licensee.

In addition to his licensee duties, David is now actively selling real estate as part of “Team Kerr” with his son, Daly Kerr. Together, they bring a dynamic blend of experience, energy, and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional results for their clients.

David is committed to fostering a positive workplace culture and is eager to introduce innovative procedures, marketing strategies, and fresh ideas to the business. Backed by an experienced and supportive team, he looks forward to helping clients navigate the real estate market with professionalism and care.
