He supports cultural activities for his local Indian community and in New Zealand, played for Greenlane Cricket Club as a wicket keeper and opening batsman. To get more awareness around mental health last year, with his wife, they donated nearly $20,000 to a hospital following a mental health awareness session where brain research specialists were invited to share their work.

Param enjoys supporting his son’s soccer and his daughter’s cultural singing and dancing activities. He loves being in nature, long walks, enjoying family life and, of course, watching cricket!
