Renting a home is relatively straightforward but does require prospective tenants to complete a series of simple steps.
Selecting the right home in the right area is your first step and, for some tenants, this will include finding out whether your pet will be acceptable to the landlord. If you have a pet, make sure you start your search by clicking our ‘Pet Friendly’ checkbox before you hit the search button.
If you don’t find a ‘Pet Friendly’ rental in your preferred location, make sure you speak to a First National Real Estate property manager. Landlords don’t always want their property flagged as ‘Pet Friendly’ but may still be willing to consider applications from tenants who have pets with references.
