John commenced his career in the real estate industry as a sales representative in 1984 with William Ellis & Son in Busselton/Dunsborough and qualified for a Real Estate Agent Licence in 1988.

In 1992 John accepted a position as Licensee/Manager at L J Hooker Geraldton, and moved to the town with his wife and young family. In 1997 he transferred to become Branch Licensee at Wesfarmers Dalgety Geraldton and worked across a broad range of areas from residential to commercial/industrial property, leasehold businesses, hobby farms, large rural properties and cattle and sheep stations.

In 2011 he returned to the residential market as Sales Manager for The Professionals Geraldton before taking a break from the industry in 2013 to become a skipper of a charter boat on the Swan River and out to Rottnest Island.

Returning to the South West to settle on a long held family property in August 2014, John as taken on the role of Sales Manager/ Commercial Property Manager at Augusta First National Real Estate. His extensive knowledge and wealth of real estate experience across the state makes him well qualified to advise on any type of property transaction.
