3 infrastructure projects to watch out for
No matter where you're looking to buy property, infrastructure will be an important factor that informs your decision. Whether it's a new road or perhaps a NBN rollout announcement, these projects identify ways your life can be made easier as well as where you can expect growth. With that in mind, here are three upcoming projects across Australia that are worth paying attention to.

WestConnex, New South Wales

This 33km set of roads in Sydney is going to connect the the airport and Sydney Orbital Network with the west and southwest of the city. This opens up many more suburbs in this area to property buyers who still have to work in the CBD, allowing for a much easier commute. Construction is due to begin next year and take up to eight years so while it is a long-term project, it is one that should see a lot of growth sprout up around it.

CGD Municipal Building Project - Victoria

This piece of infrastructure development is designed to revitalise the entirety of the City of Greater Dandenong, making it an excellent place to invest and live in. With new offices, council buildings and car parks underway, the project was recently completed, and purchasers of property can now reap the benefits of this expansion of services.

Gateway WA - Western Australia

This is a new freeway development announced by Transport Minister Dean Nalder in recent months that will link the Perth CBD to Kewdale and the Perth Airport, greatly improving transport for all suburbs between the eastern fringes and the heart of the city.

Whether big or small, short-term or long-term, infrastructure developments have a big impact on the places we choose to live and invest. By keeping up to date with these expansions, you can stay on the cusp of potential growth areas in Australia.
