David Forrest (Immediate Past Chairman) started his real estate career in Melbourne in the early 1980’s where he became a Principal and an accomplished Auctioneer. He was a partner of First National Real Estate Framptons since 2001 and took a position on the SA/NT council during 2010. David served on the REINT Board for many years and was Vice Chairman. He has accepted two ministerial appointments and has worked in an advisory capacity for the NT Government. David moved to Queensland opened another office in Cairns, First National Cairns Central in 2012 and was appointed to the Queensland Council in 2013. David was elected Chairman of the Queensland Council in 2015 and appointed to the National Board of Directors in 2016. David was appointed as the network’s National Chairman in May, 2018 which position he held until May 2020. David serves on the Board’s Finance Risk & Audit Committee, Membership Committee, Investment Committee and is Chair of the Board’s Grievances & Disputes Committee.
